I use the term ‘anarchy’ to mean challenging authority at many different levels. This could be nations / “The State”, universities or curatorial staff at institutions with violent colonial histories… do they deserve the power they have?
The idea that art belongs in private collections and institutions is exclusionary.
For me, there should be no border between art & audience.
Art fairs, commercial galleries…
(they’re all commercial galleries if you have enough money, just ask the Sainsbury family)
